Oh, it Does Feel Good to be Back!

2nd week back and we’re already in full flow!

Wednesday Intervals was a TOUGH 5 mins on session. Not as many people taking up the bonus rep this week, but we moved and covered some good mileage!

Thursday we had a GREAT turnout considering the weather was pretty miserable. That’s 2 Thursday runs and 2 rainy runs… BUT, it was our Danni’s last Coffee Run for a while :( so was worth the soggyness! We’re going to miss her!

Jasper and Nadja both had birthday’s this week and they decided they wanted to do Parkrun, so a gang of us got together, wore silly hats and had a social run.

Sunday, our Hospice Half Marathon plan is into week 2. A long run with some different pace efforts. Getting used to controlling intensity and getting comfortable at paces we aim to run at in upcoming races.

Wednesday this week see’s our first get together, we are heading for pizza after our interval session. You don’t have to join intervals to join, more than welcome for just pizza… let us know if you want to join!

Light Jog / Stretches / Pizza

Aim: You want to be able to maintain your 10k pace for the 8 mins. You want consistency for the 3 reps.

Thursday

FREE TO JOIN!

We meet in Trenton Square before heading out for an easy run. We are going to do 15 minutes out and 15 minutes back. 30 minutes (ish) at a chatty pace, followed by coffee and catch up at The Loft (Big Maggy’s). There will be a lead and a tail runner so nobody get’s left behind.
