Spooky Season
This week as us take on Halloween, my favourite!
First though, we had a great turnout for the monthly Spartans 5k race. The race was supporting the Let’s Lift The Curfew campaign, ran by Sport England/England Athletics/This Girl Can. A campaign that raises awareness and promote a safer environment for women to engage in physical activity in the darker winter months. We had a NUMBER or PBs, few first time racers and ALOT of fun! So thanks to all the organisers and marshals for making it such an awesome event.
We had double bubble with fancy dress. Some people taking seriously, with some great efforts. We had wolves, cheerleaders, superheroes, lifeguards, to name a few! We always appreciate an effort with fancy dress, so thank you all for coming this week
Thursday morning saw one of our biggest turnouts to date! The light is back… for now. We definitely made the most it. The vibe was AMAZING!
No netball this week as it’s half term but we did all do a run and brunch for Harvey’s birthday, in our best “Ibiza” dress… although effort was a little lower on this one
Not much else to report this week!
