The Darkest Days are DONE!

The darkest months of the year are behind us and we are only getting brighter. WE MADE IT!

We had another good week of running, a GOOD, fast session on Wednesday saw some people running paces they didn’t think they could. We saw a load of new faces (and new doggo) this week which was AWESOME!

Thursday morning was also fun and also saw some new faces. Looking forward to our sunrise runs again in the near future

Sunday saw our guys on the Hospice Plan nail another long run! Some hitting distances they’ve not ran before, some running faster than they have done before. We are moving in the right direction!

Wednesday

Warm Up
Light Jog to Westmount / Mobility / Drills

Main Session
60 secs up - Recover down x 5
45 secs up - Recover down x 5
30 secs up - Recover down x 3
3 mins up - Walk down x 1

Cool Down
Light Jog back to Freedom Treet / Stretches

Aim: Push hard up the hill, recover back down. No pressure on pace on the way back down. We re-group and go again

Thursday

FREE TO JOIN!

We meet in Trenton Square before heading out for an easy run. We are going to do 15 minutes out and 15 minutes back. 30 minutes (ish) at a chatty pace, followed by coffee and catch up at The Loft (Big Maggy’s). There will be a lead and a tail runner so nobody get’s left behind.
